Open Door Volunteer Programme

BVSC is now operating an Open Door Volunteer Programme which has been designed to support individuals who are at risk of being excluded from volunteering opportunities.

Under this scheme voluntary organisations/charities will be paid £650 for each volunteer hosted for 12 weeks (for a minimum of 60 hours). 

If you would consider hosting volunteers from any/all of these client groups below then contact BVSC as you may be able to take part in this programme.

• Long Term Unemployed (12 months + )

• Asylum Seekers/Refugees
• Single Parents
• Ex-offenders
• Adults with mild learning disabilities
• Adults with mental health problems
