Community Champions - dfes
Website designed to help people wanting to become active in their communities and support and develop the work of local people who are involved in community activities. The fund managed by regional government gives small grants to community group organisers, funding is likely to come in the form of travel expenses. Training is also available for community organisers and is given with the view that their acquired skills are passed on to members of their communities
