Reflective Leadrership

People and Organisation has run Reflections on leadership and management themes for our clients, colleagues and friends events since 2005 in response to enquiries about our experience of working in cross culture environments. Previous events have covered topics such as leadership, change, learning, performance management, success and risk from Eastern and Western perspectives. Together with BVSC, we are facilitating a breakfast event on Reflective Leadership

Together with BVSC, we are facilitating a breakfast event on Reflective Leadership.  Given the recent rapid changes and expectations of greater challenges ahead leaders and managers of third sector organisations need to have the capacity to respond appropriately. We will explore how we might balance the need to generate visions and build teams to deliver results with being able to engage others through authenticity and shared meanings. We will also consider how we might internalise our experience to develop our character and grow as leaders.
 
The Reflection will be facilitated by Dr Yeow Poon, the Director of People and Organisation.  Yeow has a particular interest in balancing Eastern and Western approaches to leadership, performance and learning.  He has extensive experience of supporting management teams to implement change and improve performance in the UK, South Africa and Asia.  He is currently working on a number of projects in the UK, Vietnam and China.  Yeow is also the Chair of the Chinese Community Centre, Birmingham and a member of Advantage West Midland’s China Advisory Group.

We do hope you will be able to join us for a stimulating, thought provoking and enjoyable morning.   Attendance is limited and we will allocate places on a first come first serve basis.
