Training : Getting Ready for Health Commissioning

Want to deliver services for the NHS? Then this workshop has been specifically designed to help you get ready for health commissioning.

Monday 12th January 2009

9.30am - 4pm at BVSC

The way Primary Care Trusts commission services from the Voluntary and Community Sector is changing and this workshop will help you understand and navigate your way through those changes.

At the end of the workshop you will know:

  • How to provide evidence that your organisation is well governed and managed
  • How to demonstrate leadership and the involvement of your Board
  • The importance of business planning for commissioning
  • Ways to show your organisation can deliver the outcomes that health commissioners want to see

Two support surgery days will follow the workshop, where participating organisations can book an  appointment and have individual support relating to their commissioning and business planning strategies.  Please see the Flyer for more information.
