Participation Works

Participation Works is a consortium of six organisations that provides expert advice to anyone wanting to give a voice to children and young people.  They are holding a series of events and workshops this autumn that offer advice and training on involving children and young people in decision-making. Social Return On Investment UK (SROI)

The network for Social Return on Investment will be running two-day training events around the UK to introduce SROI and techniques for conducting SROIs. 

Training will be delivered by SROI UK accredited practitioners.

29th - 30th September,  Bristol
15th - 16th October,  Newcastle
27th - 28th November,  Edinburgh

For those new to SROI day one can be attended on its own.  If you’d like to work towards becoming a SROI UK accredited practitioner you’ll  need to have attended both days

Subsidised Marketing and Communication Courses

Media Trust is offering subsidised marketing and communications courses for second tier organisations throughout England. The courses, Understanding Media Relations and Understanding Marketing, will provide support providers with the resources, tips and good practice required to successfully deliver help to frontline groups.
