Free low energy bulbs

Your chance to take delivery of a crate of low energy bulbs and distribute them to individuals.

2QAB, based in Bristol, are working with EOn to give away free low energy lightbulbs to any one on benefits or to people over the age of 70 - each eligible individual is entitled to two free bulbs.

Eligibility criteria includes anyone over the age of 70 years and anyone in receipt of the following benefits:

  • Council tax benefit
  • Housing benefit
  • Income support
  • Income based job seekers allowance
  • Attendance allowance
  • Disability living allowance
  • War disablement pension which includes either a mobility supplement or
  • constant attendance allowance Disablement pension which includes
  • constant attendance allowance State pension credit Child tax credit
  • Working tax credit


Bulbs are delivered on a pallet approximately 4foot x 4foot; 5 foot tall (1000 sets of two bulbs).

There is no expectation that records should be kept of the individuals who receive the bulbs.
